COLUMBUS– Alexander Joseph Anderson (aka our Superman hero), age 34, passed away on September 1, 2022 as a result of the ravages of Muscular Dystrophy and complications introduced on from contracting COVID 19.

Born on May 25, 1988, Alex spent most of his life within the East Liverpool and Wellsville areas earning a GED from East Liverpool High School. Alex was a member of the National and state Muscular Dystrophy Associations, a one time collector of Ty Beanie Babies and an ardent lover of animals. He donated monthly to help animal advocacy teams and was a PROUD fur child father of several rescued animals which he cared for during his life. Alex was an avid football fan and religiously followed Ohio State University and the Cleveland Browns. He loved watching films and enjoying board video games along with his mom and second dad. One of his favourite pastimes was playing video games with his brothers and heaps of associates who came bearing Bruno’s pizza, Hot Dog Shop, L&B glazed donuts or Chinese food.

Alex was preceded in demise by his paternal grandfather, Joe Anderson; his maternal grandparents, Al and Shirley Green; his cousin, Ryan Virden and his trusty, guard canines, Stormy and Warlock.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted mom and life long caregiver, Abby Green Anderson Miller, second dad, Kevin Miller, and third grandmother, Nancy Miller. Other survivors embody his father, Joey Anderson; brother, Jacob Anderson and his associate Erynne Hottinger; his brother, Lucas Tyler Anderson; his step mom, Vikki Anderson and step brother, Jeremy Cowan; his maternal grandmother, Edna Steffen Anderson; his best pal, Resden Nixon, and quite a few aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who beloved him and share on this devastating loss.

There shall be no calling hours. In preserving with Alex’s wishes, his body was donated to science in hopes of discovering a treatment for MD. In lieu of flowers or other remembrances, the household asks you consider donating to the National Muscular Dystrophy Association or your native animal shelter.

Family and friends are invited to attend a CELEBRATION of ALEX’S LIFE which will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 , at 5:00 p.m., at Guilford Lake State Park’s Red Maple Landing area… from Lisbon take Rt 172 to Hanna Drive (Kevin’ Korner Drive-Thru), flip R and follow posted SUPERMAN indicators.
